THINGS ID LIKE TO DO THIS YEAR
Hi,
Today I wanted to make a list (absolutely love a list) of what I want to do this year. It's currently August which means we have just over 4 months until 2019, that is literally terrifying.
I want to be able to look back on this at the beginning of next year and see what I've achieved, along with setting myself goals for next year.
Start saving and make some plans to move out - My boyfriend and I have been talking about moving out for a while now, we walked round Ikea and decided that we wanted to move in together and since then I've thought about moving out SO often. I'd like to save a decent amount of money first though.
Go on more walks - I literally love going for walks and I haven't done that a lot recently. It would also let me spend more time with Bailey (and I can catch more Pokemon so thats always a winner).
Visit new places - I want to travel within England more. I'm such a fan of places like Devon but I've been there so many times now and I'd love to go to more places. I've been looking at cities further North like York, Leeds and Manchester.
Get a tattoo and another piercing - I decided what tattoo I want a while ago but I haven't got round to getting it done. I want to find a good tattooist because I literally want so many hahaha. I also want to get more ear piercings, I've got my cartilage but I want some edgy ones too.
Try new things - I've already started doing this. For about 4 years I've only eaten chicken, but recently I've broadened my horizons and tried steak, lamb and pork. My main aim is to try (and like) mince because it's so easy to cook but the texture weirds me out. I'm determined to go to a restaurant and not order chicken one day.
Learn to cook - Ok I am literally the WORST cook ever. I can't even open an egg, but I need to learn if I'm going to move out (who am I kidding my boyfriend is really good at cooking but I want to learn). Ngl, my main issue is that I put things in the oven and forget about them and then they burn but I'm definitely going to work on that. My aim is to be able to cook a roast dinner because thats my favourite meal and it looks so impressive if you make it right.
Film/document cool things I do - Despite the fact that I work 5 days a week, I do sometimes do cool things on my days off. I'd love to document them somehow, whether that is through photos on a blog post or through a short YouTube video, so that I can look back on them in a few years or when I feel crap.
I think these are pretty doable, and I want to take photos of all of them and hopefully have a long post in January showing what I've done.
Thanks,
Em x
